3in (76.2mm) Neoprene Pads are available in 50, 60, or 70 durometers and used in compressive strength testing of 3in concrete cylinders. They are 0.5in (12.7mm) thick and meet the durometer requirements of ASTM C1231 and AASHTO T 22. The 3in pads flow during compression to fill irregularities of the cylinder ends and ensure load uniformity. The HM-182 3in Steel Retainer Set is sold separately and required to hold one pad at each end of the concrete cylinder. Two pads are required and each pad can be used for up to 100 tests.
HM-366 3in, 50 Durometer Pads work well in testing concrete strengths from 1,500-6,000psi (10-40mPa).
HM-367 3in, 60 Durometer Pads work well in testing concrete strengths from 2,500-7,000psi (17-50mPa).
HM-368 3in, 70 Durometer Pads work well in testing concrete strengths from 4,000-7,000psi (28-50mPa). 70 durometer pads can be used for testing strengths up to 12,000psi with further qualification testing by a user.
