6in (152.4mm) Neoprene Pads come in 50, 60, or 70 durometers. They are used when testing the compressive strength of 6x12in concrete cylinders and meet ASTM C1231/1231M and AASHTO T 22 standards. The pads are 0.5in (12.7mm) thick and flow during compression to fill irregularities of the cylinder ends and ensure uniform load distribution. HM-180 6in Steel Retainer Set are sold separately and required to hold the pads at both ends of the cylinder. Two pads are required. Pads are sold singly or in a package of 12 and can be used up to 100 times.
HM-363 6in 50 Durometer Pads for testing concrete strengths of 1,500-6,000psi (10-40mPa).
HM-364 6in 60 Durometer Pads for testing concrete strengths of 2,500-7,000psi (17-50mPa).
HM-365 6in 70 Durometer Pads for testing concrete strengths of 4,000-7,000psi (28-50mPa). With additional qualification testing by the user, 70 durometer pads can be used to test concrete with strengths ranging from 7,000-12,000psi (50-80mPa).
