Load Rings, often referred to as proving rings, are manufactured from high-strength aluminum alloy with repeatable elastic deformation characteristics and are used to determine force measurements. Loads are measured with an accuracy of ±0.5% using the included mechanical dial indicator with 0.0001in resolution. A calibration chart to derive force values based on ring deformation is also included.
Load Rings are available in eight different capacities ranging from 250 to 10,000lbf and have a mounting hole size of 1/2inx20tpi, making them compatible with Gilson and other manufacturers' load frames and direct shear units.
