Swivel Top Platens are required to measure the compressive strength of soil-cement specimens in compliance with ASTM D1633. Platens distribute loads properly for soil-cement testing with Load Frames.

HMA-129 can test soil-cement samples up to 4in (102mm). It has a diameter of 4.25in with 1/2in x 20tpi attachment. Suitable for 500lbf to 2,500lbf S-type Load Cells and all Gilson Load Rings.

HMA-129B can also test soil-cement samples up to 4in (102mm) and has a diameter of 4.25in. The difference is, it has a 3/4in x 16tpi attachment. This model is available individually or is included in the HMA-687 and HMA-687D Soil-Cement Component Sets as a component. Suitable for use with 5,000lbf and 10,000lbf load cells.

HMA-129A can test soil-cement samples up to 6in (152mm). It has a diameter of 6.25in with 3/4in x 16tpi attachment.  Suitable for use with 5,000lbf and 10,000lbf load cells.

Q: Will this work with fan-forced heaters?

I'm very satisfied with this product. It was exactly what I wanted in my travel trailer, for a lot more accurate heating. Now I can pinpoint it to exactly the temperature I want, instead of guessing, sliding the conventional thermostat back and forth. Will for sure save on propane too! Nice back light when adjusting the temperature, making it easy to see even at night.
